Acer psuedoplatanus ‘Esk Sunset’ - Eskimo Sunset Sycamore Maple

Acer psuedoplatanus ‘Esk Sunset’ (AKA Eskimo Sunset Sycamore Maple) is just stunning! It must be one of the showiest of all maples and would make a great specimen tree. The new spring leaves are orangey-pink which mature to shades of green, pink, cream and tan. Each leaf is completely different! As if that isn’t enough, the underside of the leaves are purple! Eskimo Sunset originates from the Esk Valley on the North Island of New Zealand.
