Begonia Luxurians - Palm Leaf Begonia

Begonia Luxurians - Palm Leaf Begonia - is a Begonia like no other! This large begonia has an upright form with palm-like leaves forming at the top of tall, red, cane-like stems. Although it is grown primarily for its highly decorative foliage, it does bear pretty white and yellow flowers, which are quite fragrant. Palm Leaf Begonia is native to the rain forests of Brazil, where its natural habitat would be in humid, semi-shady locations. It would be worth trying this fantastic looking plant as an annual in a container as it is sure to make a good conversation piece!
